Identification and requirements for ITIN-related borrowing

Start with the accepted documents, then review residency and repayment. Lendify loans require no SSN or ITIN; the document checklist and eligibility criteria still apply.

ITIN personal loans: start with the ID checklist

Lendify loans do not require an SSN or ITIN. A photo ID is part of the document checklist; a foreign passport or consular ID is among the accepted options.

Personal loans for immigrants: prepare documents

Gather proof of income and address as well as photo ID. These are separate document groups, so having an accepted ID does not replace the rest of the checklist.

Your state of residence still matters

You must live in a state where Lendify loans are offered. Review state requirements alongside identification; an ITIN does not replace the residency requirement.

Plan for repayment and credit reporting

Lendify reports payment history for all borrowers to at least one major credit bureau. Review the fixed payment schedule alongside the documents you will need.

Questions about identification and ITIN needs

Is an ITIN required for a Lendify personal loan?

Lendify loans do not require an SSN or ITIN. You still need the required photo ID, proofs of income and proof of address. Review those document groups and the income, residency and creditworthiness requirements before starting your application.

Can I use a Matrícula consular as my photo ID?

Yes. A Matrícula consular is among the accepted photo ID options, along with a foreign passport and other government photo ID. Prepare one photo ID, two proofs of income and one proof of address. The document requirements do not allow photocopies.

Which income documents should I prepare with a foreign passport?

Prepare two proofs of income, such as your most recent pay stub and bank statement. A benefit form or letter is another accepted option. You also need a separate proof of address and a photo ID; a foreign passport is an accepted ID.

Does my immigration background replace the state residency requirement?

No. You must live in a state where Lendify loans are offered. You must also meet the age, income, ability-to-repay and creditworthiness requirements. The document checklist includes photo ID and proof of address, so review both groups before applying.

Will Lendify review my credit if I apply with an ITIN?

Yes. Lendify checks your credit score when you apply, even though an SSN or ITIN is not required for its loans. It also considers your credit report and other creditworthiness criteria, along with monthly income and expenses, to assess ability to repay.

How can I compare payments before starting an ITIN-related application?

Choose your state, amount and term in the calculator to review an estimated payment every two weeks and total repayment. Read the state example table separately. Both are examples; actual terms depend on the payment schedule, credit determination and state law.
